Rev. Deborah Coleman (Rev. Deb) is an insightful and skilled communicator with over 30 years experience in Christian Ministry. Deborah was licensed as a teacher in the Unity School of Religious Studies in 1987, and then went on to become an ordained minister in the Church of Truth in 1991. Deborah is the Founder/Director of the Church of Truth International, which is registered with the Canadian Federal Government and licenced to conduct worship service and issue income tax receipts for donations received.
Deborah is fully licensed by the Ontario Ministry of Commercial and Consumer Relations (since 1993) to officiate at wedding ceremonies. Through the authority of the Church of Truth, she is licenced and entitled to perform other religious rites such as baptisms, renewal of vows and funerals.
Creative and dynamic, Deborah has often been described as a ‘motivational teacher’, impacting lives with humour, inspiration, and presenting to the listener practical tools to apply to everyday life.
Deborah has developed and implemented courses and classes on self-empowerment, assisted organizations with boards goals, objectives and strategies, and co-ordinated programs for people with disabilities in conjunction with the local college and 5 major banks. She has sat on various boards of not-for-profit organizations and is often asked to be a keynote speaker and AGM facilitator.
Deborah also develops and presents half-day and day-long workshops and seminars to local community business and organizations, teaches a ministerial program, and performs over 150 weddings per year.
Deborah and her husband Frank were married in 1971, have raised two children and now take great delight in their grandchildren.
Deborah says the greatest privilege of her life was to officiate the wedding ceremonies for both their children and hopefully will be around to marry their grandchildren too.
